cdcover CDCover

In order to make a CD cover you need images for both the front and the back of the cover but you need a way to resize them before printing and maybe few marks arround the print to help to cut the image at the right size.

That's why I wrote the CDCover package.

News

6 january 2005 When a back cover do not exist it build now a default one.

9 january 2004 A standalone installer in now available.

5 january 2004 The first release of the CDCover package is available for download.

Documentation

The programm add a 'Make CD Cover' context menu to the .jpg files. It will try to interpret the file you select as a front or a back cover image and will try to locate in the same folder the corresponding back or front cover image. Then it will build an html file presenting both images ready for printing.

It will try to find the corresponding cover based on the name of the files. Usualy it will expect to find two files with the same name but the end that will be -front.jpg for the front cover or -back.jpg for the back cover (It will also look for a bunch of other terminaisons). If it is not able to find a corresponding cover it will assume that the file is the front cover and it will build a back cover based on the name of the file.

Download

There is two way to install the package.

You can download a standalone intaller CDCover.exe.

Or download the source CDCover.zip and install the package by hand. If you choose that way you should ensure that Python, ctypes and pil are already installed on your machine.
